Seasons

The seasons are changing,

Colors rearranging,

Step back, it’s amazing.

Do not rush perfection;
That’s a misdirection;
A blatant infection.

Let the time marinate,
While the birds serenade,
The hearts that dare to date.

Cold, warm, hot, cool; seasons.
Death, birth, growth, rest; reasons.
To contradict: treason.

True living is dying,
Serving and abiding,
In the One inviting.

Now, accept or decline?
Invitation; divine.
I’d abide in the vine.

Transitions will happen,
Don’t fret, It’s a trap and,
You’re held by His wrapping.

Yes, you are fully clothed.
Entirely betrothed.
In Christ’s blood, you’re enthroned.

Leaves blossom, then they fall,
He’s awesome, all in all.
Prunes branches; I’m in awe.

My seasons are changing,
Colors rearranging,
Step back, it’s amazing.
